STARBUCKS GC Giveaway!!

Because I love you all so much I will be giving away a $10 gift card to Starbucks today!

See I am not a big football fan...well "big" might be an exageration...I am NOT a fan at all.... :). But, I am a fan of coffee. So I hope one of you will enjoy this card as much as I would have.

I will pick the Winner for this as well since it is my own card I am giving away. Tell me the best movie you have seen lately. I went with a friend to see The Reader on Friday. It was pretty good and Kate Winslet definitely is a fine actress.

Well the last movie I saw was really good, I loved the book, and then went to the movie. The movie was Marley and Me. Really good movie.
I would love the Starbucks card, I have never been to Starbucks. We have one now about 12 miles away and have been wanting to try it. This is my chance.
Thanks, Have a Super Superbowl Sunday!!!
Go Steelers!!!!

a.) we are kindred spirits! I have absolutely no interest in football but I could sit in Starbucks for hours... just to smell the fresh brewed goodness!

b.) My sister-in-law and I went to see "Bride Wars" (my husband didn't want to see it, hmm, odd? LOL) and it was FUNNY! It just might make it onto my "go to" list. You know... the movies you can watch over and over again just bc they make you happy. :o)

We just saw (on DVD) "Righteous Kill". It may not have been the best movie I've seen lately, but ya gotta love DeNiro & Pacino together!

Had a girls night out and went and saw Bride Wars...very funny!

Well, I don't get the chance to watch new movies too often, but on I saw and really enjoyed was Fireproof. I really loved it. Even though I'm not married, it reminded me that I need to love others unconditionally, even if they aren't thrilled with me. And it will be a good reminder when I do get married!

And I just have to say it; I love Starbucks. I really do. I can't stand drinking the coffe we have at church because it's so strong and un-Starbucks like. Might be pathetic, but I guess I'm just spoiled. =) So the gift card would be absolutely fabulous. Thanks, Liz!!

Love Starbucks and can't afford it.

I think the best movie ever for comedy is Thank You for Smoking.

Before you stop reading right there, it's totally about what a spin doctor the 3 killers are ( big tobacco and maybe liquor). This guy is so good at spinning he made the dying marlboro man...you gotta see it.'

I rarely go to the movies...and only slightly more often rent them. But I did recently see Mama Mia! It was very good, uplifting, fun and truly enjoyable! As for the Starbuck's card, oooowheeeee! Love me my Starbuck's iced coffee! : ))

Super giveaway! I saw Twilight 3 times recently, just because I'm addicted. Can't say it was the most fabulous movie ever, but anyway.

We just went to see Underworld: Rise of the Lycons. It was out of this world! By far one of my favourite movies.

Mom of Three said...

I am NOT a football at all either. I will try to catch a few commercials though.

The best movie I have seen recently is Marley and Me. I cried through the whole ending. I had read the book and knew what would happen, but it still got to me!

Joan said...

Not a football fan either although I picked up 3-D glasses yesterday but only so I could watch "CHUCK" with them Monday night. I digress.

I just saw 'Marley & Me' which was good but sad...so I then went to see something silly and fun...'Bride Wars'.
I love Starbucks too... especially the frappacino drinks.

Amy said...

I loved Marley and me- a feel good, thoughtful movie. We've needed more of those lately!

We saw the James Bond movie a few weeks ago - don't remember the name for sure, but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. :o)

I haven't been out to see a movie in 2 years! We missed our Christmas Day tradition for 2 years in a row, due to illness/death in our family. I did, however, stick on of my all time faves in this afternoon, "Where the Heart Is". I would love a really good Grande Caramel Machiado with this card!

The High Family said...

I will laugh if I win this because the only thing I drink from Starbucks in their Grande Hot Cocoa with whipped cream. LOL

We just got Netflix as a Christmas gift from brother-in-law...wasn't that nice of him? We get a DVD a week now and are catching up with the rest of the world on watching movies. The last one we watched was Fool's Gold. I liked it! :)

Oh shoot. I haven't been to the movies in ages! I am going to see Fireproof on Valentines Day though.

Oh...I havent been to the movies in a while. My daughter went to see Benjamin Button, Brad Pitt's movie. She said it was very, very good and she cried. Does that count?

I'm not in to watching the game either..might pass by the tv to catch some of the commercials though.

I just recently saw "Bride Wars". I didn't know what to expect, but it actually had a very good ending with a wonderful message (I won't spoil it here!). I was really impressed. Enjoy your Sunday afternoon! : )

I very rarely get out to see movies. (Kids kind of make it difficult.) Recently, though, I actually got out to see Mall Cop. I didn't have very high hopes for it, but it actually turned out to be pretty funny. I got my money's worth of laughs out of it. :)

Just like you, I'm not really into football. (and, luckily, neither is my husband!) My husband does LOVE Starbuck's. He would be a very happy guy if we won. Thanks for the chance!

Stacie said...

I'm not a fan of football either. The best movie I saw lately....I never go to the show so it will have to be something I watched on Pay Per View...hmmmm....I saw The Strangers and it was ok.

Hi Liz! Glad that you are feeling much better. I haven't been out to the movies in years. (Yikes!) I do like renting those historical reality movies like "Manor House" or "Colonial House" which put contemporary people back in time. Starbucks is a wonderful treat! Thank you!

Just last night we watched The Dark Knight. I'm usually one of those wait-til-the-DVD-comes-out-to-see-it kinda gals. But I wish I would have seen this one in the theater.

Wammy said...

Our family goes to the movie as a family...all of us for Christmas. We saw "the one with the mouse with big ears" is what my grandson called it.

I most recently saw "Bride Wars" and it ended up being cute and funnier than I thought it would. It was a fun little ladies afternoon out - my first day out without my 6 month old baby girl. Big day.

The last movie I saw that was great was Marley and Me. In my book, if a movie can make you laugh one moment and cry another, it's a winner. Marley and Me definitely delivered!
I also really want to go see Confessions of a Shopaholic, it looks hilarious. :)

I do like football. And Starbucks.

And recently saw Mama Mia. I've heard the actual play is better than the movie, but I can't get to NY to check that out. I thought the movie was good.

Hi Liz! I just loved Milk. It is a Gus Van Sant film about Harvey Milk, the first openly gay elected official. Harvey Milk is played by genius Sean Penn. It is such a touching and inspiring movie about a man who stood up for what he believed at all costs. You can read more about it at my blog http://miospacer.blogspot.com/2009/01/milk.html

Thanks for the chance to win, I LOVE Starbuck's and use it as a special treat to myself!
