Fitness!

So my husband and I are planning on jumping back on the fitness bandwagon soon. After my three pregnancies in the last five years, I can use some work...well a lot of work actually.

The Giveaway today will make one of you join me. muhwahaha! (did you hear my evil laugh?) Well kinda, I will get you an eleven-month subscription to Fitness Magazine...the rest of the work is up to you.

Please leave a comment telling me if you work out (honesty here people!) and for how long each day. If you don't work out, let me know too. I want confessions today. :)

For those of you who celebrate Christmas, Merry Christmas Eve! We are celebrating with ham, scalloped potatoes, green rice casserole, pies, fudge, etc. Hey! I need those extra calories stored up for when I start burning them in a week or so.

Spread the Love,

Before I went back to school, I used to work out 5 days a week! Now that I'm back in school, at best, I get 3-4 half hour sessions a week.

Yeah I can use this! I'm joining a gym next week and I need all the motivation I can get.

I used to run 3-4 times a week when I was training for a 5K. My race was November 8th and I haven't run since.

My husband and I plan on doing the P90X workout plan again starting in the middle of next month. It is 6 days a week and really intense.

I used to work out every night for an hour before I got married and had a baby. Now I'm doing good if I work out once a week (either the elliptical or Wii Fit) so I could definitely use some help (especially since my 10 yr reunion is coming up in May!).

I used to be REALLY good at working out 5-6 days a week, but for the last 2 years it's been more like once a month. Unfortunately it's starting to look like I work out once a month. So I need to jump back on that wagon too.
Have a Merry Christmas!
*hugs*

I work out but not as often as I should. My goal is to go 4 days a week and my average is about 2. Maybe I need to up my goal to going twice a day and then I'd end up going once a day...
When I go, I do cardio for 1/2 hour and weights for about 20 minutes.

Ha! Loved your whole post. I dont work out at all, and weigh... well I'm not telling but it's over 250. I'll admit that to you few, so maybe we can follow progress? Evil laugh back atcha. I don't work out at all beyond walking my dogs and the occasional spurt of cleaning. I did get a treadmill a few days ago, so I intend to start. Soon I'm sure.

The magazine would honestly be wasteful, because I don't need fluff, I need bootcamp with Jillian.

Oh, our dinner is turducken this year, ham, stuffing galore, mashed potatos, bean casserole and pistachio bread among the desserts.

Man O' Man, can I ever use this.
Sounds like you are havin' a great Christmas dinner. Mine will be a little unconventional this year. Steak fingers and shrimp! My daughters birthday is the Dec. 26 and she requested this for dinner Christmas Day. How could I refuse?
Have a very Merry Christmas!
And yes I am going back on my healthy eating and walking regimen after New Years Day!

I manage about 2 to 3 days per week (about 30 minutes each time). However, it hasn't made much difference in my body since I've been feasting on treats for the last year :( I'm going to ramp back up after Christmas and set a schedule of kickboxing and Get Ripped! weight training.

Okay....though I want to lose about 10-15 more pounds after having my two kids.... I'm exercising enough for me to just maintain. I workout 4 days a week for 30 minutes. When I was still losing weight, I was working out 5 days a week for an hour. Right now, especially through the holidays, I'm happy to just maintain. But, after the new year, I'll be back to working out 5 days a week again!!!
I'd LOVE a subscription to the Fitness magazine!!
THANKS FOR THE GIVEAWAY!

With two kids, I only find time to work out about once a month. I love Fitness magazine and used to subscribe, so I'd really appreciate winning a subscription! Thanks!

I try to work out 3-5 times a week walking about eight miles or more. I've been on vacation this week and have worked out every mornng. I already have eight miles in three days! I hope to do more, but it's hard when busy.

I work out about 3 times a week for about an hour each time. It's not a lot but it's something.

All summer I swim everyday. During the winter I get so lazy I don't want to do anything. Now don't get me wrong. I still do what I have to do but I am not wanting to exercise..I do not have an excuse. We have a bowflex, treadmill, step thing that you step up and down on it and we have a paved driveway which is an excellent walking track.. I just do not have the get up and go do anything. January 1st I am starting on a healthy eating plan and exercise. NO EXCUSES. I turn 55 on December 25th and I want to lose 55 lbs this year! I would love this magazine. Thank you for offering it to us.

Confession of guilt - I do not work out but definitely need to be inspired to do so.

Do I workout? Well, that's not not really a black & white question.......I have a membership at Curves (LOVE Curves btw) but every time I try to get back into exercising, I end up either getting sick (usually with a sinus infection) or getting a migraine that lasts for days. No really, I'm not making this up, it's all documented in my medical records with RediCare and ER visits. But, I'm not giving up! Tomorrow, it's back to Curves, I hope!

I workout when I have a free moment. I do belong to a fitness center but because my sister just had baby # 3 in 3 1/2 yrs and she doesn't have help I go to help her many times.
I love going to the gym to workout on the elliptical or the treadmill. It does make me feel better but it is a matter of getting there. I also have a health issue (DVT) so I do try to get in some sort of exercise even it if it only at home for a few minutes each day.

Two years ago I decided to get back into shape. I did a fitness challenge at our local gym and won loosing 25 lbs in 10 weeks. When the challenge was over I continued by working out at the gym and lost another 20 on my own. I feel so much better about myself. I have so much more energy to do the things I love. Key is... cut out the crap and exercise.
My routine... M, W, F it's Cycle class for one hour. Tue, Thur.. run, walk or something. I exercise 5 days a week about 5.5 hours... and so worth every minute!

Heehee I pay 16 dollars a month (I got a great discount) at a local gym...for several months I was doing great and losing weight. However...I HAVE NOT BEEN IN 6 MONTHS. Confession!!! I still lose weight though by not eating gluten. ;-) Back to the gym soon I promise! Merry Christmas!!!
